I was on it for 10 years. Made my periods shorter and lighter, reduced acne, no change in weight or sex drive. I was also able to conceive 2 months after going off of it, only had one natural period. Many women have similar experiences and many don't. I would talk to your dr if you're considering birth control so they can help you figure out what will work best for you. 👍

It’s not ideal for everyone,including myself due to my anxiety and depression disorders. But if it were actually harmful, it wouldn’t be a thing. That’s like me saying Vicodin is harmful just cuz I can’t take it. Our bodies and what we can intake varies. Doesn’t mean something is good or bad. That’s why it’s important to know your body. Birth control just like any medication, is trial and error. Just because one firm doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean they all will. Research, try it out yourself and consult your doctor. Don’t just go by what people on the internet or people you know say.
