PLEASE HELP - how to get bub sleeping?

Hey Everyone, I'm looking for some helpful tips or personal experiences that you have found to help your little one sleep. Our little boy is 9 weeks and I am yet to get him sleeping in his bassinett or cot. He is currently co sleeping which is something i never wanted to do. I can't get him to sleep unless it is in the carrier or someone is holding him or if he is laying next to me.  This pretty much means that i spend all day every day with a baby strapped to me! My husband also works away so I can't even give him to someone else for a bit

Warm milk and gently scratch the back until they drift of of that does not work then bounce the baby gently in your arms until they fall asleep then lay them down were ever you put the kid

I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but my son was the same. At about 12 weeks I broke down to a friend at the market that I could never put him down and he just wanted to be held all the time and what was I doing wrong.  He's 5 months now and sleeping soundly in his pack n play next to the bed as I type this. I didn't really "do" anything. At about 13 weeks he started taking short sleeps in the swing and a couple weeks later he started taking his "first sleep of the night" in the pack n play. It really does get better. You will be able to put baby down. I promise. I never thought it would happen. But it really did. If you can, embrace the cuddle time. I still hold mine for his naps even though he can sleep alone. It just goes so fast. Hugs to you! I wish I could go back and tell myself to enjoy those early baby days but instead I'll just give my advice to those I think can use it.

Right when he falls asleep try to get in the habit of transferring him into the bassinet.

Maybe try swaddling or laying him down in a swing to sleep or like a rock n play something with an angle that’s what I had to do with my little one as he had acid reflux and refused to lay flat in a crib or anything
