What do you do when your parents don't want you to be with someone you really want to be with and tell you they will not support you on that decision.

( I had to cut my ex off because of this and little back story, he's from Mexico and my parents are Mexican but they don't want me idk wtf lol mainly my dad agh) most of my cousins are married to a guy from mex, idk why I can't. He's also way older than me so that may be a reason.
