So confused someone please help!

So I had unprotected sex on Monday morning

I just started taking the pill today after I got my period this morning. And have yet to take a plan b. Am I still able to take plan b if I already started my birth control pill? I need to know ASAP so I can make sure the plan b is somewhat still effective
