Is second baby easier to deliver?

Update: thanks for all the responses. I know it is sort of a trivial worry b/c I had no complications during labor but just trying to keep hope alive for it to be a little easier this time. First was 17 hrs of labor and an hour and a half of pushing...two tears, stitches on each side, and felt every inch of my little one’s head...felt like a blow torch on the V...just praying the next one gives me an easier time...thanks so much to all who shared their exp...
Just wondering how labor for second time moms has been...easier than the first...the same? Hoping my second is easier than my first...

My second delivery was way better and faster. I was in labour for 12 hours with my first and pushed for 2 hours. With my second I was in labour for an hour and pushed for 15 minutes! I also had an epidural with my first and nothing with my second.

Oh I hope this is the way my second delivery goes! First was 22 hours long and took freaking forever to push him out (I think because I was so tired at that point, having been awake for basically two whole days.)

I was induced both times, but had completely different labor and deliveries. My first labor was hoooooorrible... 46 hours of hell, and actually ended in a really scary (but eventually okay) way, while my second was about 8 hours. I pushed for about two hours with both, though, because they both got stuck (but in different ways). For me, the second was definitely easier. Now I'm on my third, and being strongly recommended to do a c-section.

Both of my babies came pretty quickly but w my second the dr accidentally broke my water in the office and I went straight to the hospital and he was born 3 hours after getting there. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes! Strangely for me my labor with the second was nearly triple the length of the first (6.5 hours vs 20.5 hours), but pushing the second go around was so much easier.

With my first I was in labor for 17 hours, pushed for an hour and half, had two second degree tears, busted blood vessels under my eyes, and ended hemorrhaging after birth. This second birth BETTER be quicker and better!!!!
