Announcement at 10 weeks?

I’m 9 weeks and the news is starting to get out in our small community due to family members.. so I’m thinking about announcing at 10 weeks! The heartbeat has been confirmed already.  Is this too early?

Not to put it out there like this but I didn’t announce with my second pregnancy and I lost the baby at 7 weeks and I grieved alone, just my then husband and I. It’s sad and hard to do alone, no one understands why you are sad because you didn’t tell anyone. 
Announce it when you are comfortable and ready, but I say go for it!! 
And congrats on the baby!!! 🧡

If you feel comfortable and ready, I definitely say do it!! My first pregnancy I didn't annouce until 18 weeks (was barely even showing) because I was still in high school, and waited until I graduated! This time I am 7 weeks today and I already want to tell EVERYONE! I have an ultrasound in two weeks and if everything is looking great, I will announce! Pregnancy is a scary thing but also something to be so excited for!

Personally, I wouldn't... but your timeline hits a little close to home for me... I was going to tell my parents about my pregnancy at my dads birthday dinner at 9+5 weeks. I had had some bleeding since 6 weeks. Had an US done at 7+4 and heard the heart beat. The baby was measuring at 6+6 but the doctor said everything was fine. I ended up in the ER the day before the planned dinner and found out the baby had died. I naturally miscarried a couple of days later at 10 weeks. I didn't want to announce until after the first trimester, but my dad travels a lot and i knew I wasn't going to see him for a while after that. I also didn't want him to hear it second hand from my mom because she's not going to be that supportive. Our family still doesn't know I was ever pregnant. Anyway, I still plan on waiting until the 12-13 weeks mark to announce next time around. But if you feel like you are having a healthy pregnancy and everything looks good, go for it.

It’s a tough thing to decide, but ultimately whenever you and your partner are ready. I waited until 15 weeks because I’ve miscarried before. I was thankful I never announced the first time because I really needed my privacy when I was grieving. I’m sure everything is going perfectly with your pregnancy and it’s safe to announce as soon as you’re ready! There’s not really a perfect time.
