Against my better judgment, I had sex with fertile mucus. I am on the pill, but I have a 3 day window usually between when my period ends and my new pack of pills is supposed to start. I had very fertile CM for a few days before my pack of pills started, but I attributed it to having just finished my period. Last night, I’m quite sure I had implantation bleeding. I have gotten pregnant while consistently using the pill before, and contraception is only a small reason of why I started it in the first place this time around. I wouldn’t be upset (in fact, I’d be ecstatic/scared/mostly ecstatic), but I got pregnant on the pill right around this time last year, and I lost the pregnancy. I’m on birth control because nothing ever went back to normal after a D&C; that was related to that pregnancy. I’m a logical person. I tell women on these forums all the time that it’s probably normal side effects from the pill, and that they should wait for their periods to be late to worry, and I know that the bleeding I just had could technically be breakthrough bleeding, but I really don’t think so. I suppose I’ll test when my period is due (psych... I don’t have that much self control when it comes to peeing on sticks 😂, so really, I’ll start testing in three days). Wish me luck, ladies... although I’m not sure if I’m asking for you to hope that I am or am not pregnant.
