I got this one! It has different sounds 🙂 at first I used my phone but I’d like to use it while my baby sleeps so 😂

I’d probably kill my husband if I didn’t have it to muffle his loudness. I got the machine because I really don’t want to be unable to use my phone if I need to at night or during nap time. You could download an app first just to see if baby likes it before ordering the actual machine.

For people who use them, I’ve heard they work great. I however will never use any type of sound machine. I’ve seen it first hand from my 3 nephews and my best friends 2 kids how much of a struggle it is for them to sleep if they don’t have the machine. My cousin forgot hers on a vacation and getting those kids to sleep and stay asleep was painful... my friends son broke theirs and had the same issue.  I’d rather my children learn to sleep on their own with the regular every day noises around them..... but to each their own!

Girl.  
My white noise machine was one of the best mommy purchases I have ever made.  
My son was a horrible sleeper.  I'm not one of those ladies like "my baby is 8 weeks old why isn't he sleeping through the night I'm tired".

I'm talking this child was still getting up 4 times a night sometimes at the ripe age of 2.

I tried all sorts of things, and then my focus turned to trying to find ways to help him build routine and self soothe so when he woke up at night he could go back to sleep.  And so, I got the white noise machine as part of his bedtime routine and it has helped tremendously.

It just creates a very regular background noise that helps him soothe himself.  Now he's 3 and when he sleeps at my inlaws he doesn't have it and he doesn't have issues with overnights without it.  When he naps in my bed he doesn't have issues without it.  But in his room he sleeps so much better with it than he ever did without it.  Just in case you were worried it creates bad habits, I don't feel as if it's an issue at all with my son. 
Point is, now he sleeps.  I sleep.  We all sleep.

It's a must have for us. I think we'd be fine at night, but naps are an absolute necessity. of course you could use your phone but when babe's in their own room you won't want to leave your phone in a different room all night. we have this one. I like the different noises  (although we tend to stick wth the plain white noise) it has battery backup for if we go camping or the power goes out. and if we ever did forget it on a trip, we could easily replace it with a phone. we tried youtube white noise or lullaby videos for a while when she was younger but they always had ads and it was so frustrating.
