Vaginal odor from cooking with garlic and onions?

I'm a foody, I love to cook, but every time I cook with garlic and onions, it literally makes my vagina smell like garlic and onions for the next few days. I wash my hands before and after cooking, I shower every other day and more often if I need to. I'm so self conscious about it! Nobody else can smell it, it isn't that strong, but if my boyfriend and I get intimate, I know he could. Anybody have any tips or ideas? I refuse to wear gloves when I cook, who has time for that? 😂
