Yes it is. Your body is meant to be a temple and you should “present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, a sacred service with your power of reason” - Romans 12:1
When you mutilate your body you’re directly going against the biblical command from God.

i tried to commit suicide in July I asked God why I was alive why He wouldnt just let me die... i was able to repent glory to God but I know id be lifting my eyes up from hell... do you not know that your body is the temple off the Holy Spirit that is in you that is from God that you are not your own therefore glorify God with your body.

We should not be telling people who have issues with self harm that it is a sin! Even if you believe that, it is hard enough without people telling you that you will go to hell if you self harm. We should be encouraging and supporting them through what they are going through. After all, Christianity teaches us not to judge others and to love others as God loves us.

I don’t think so. Flagellation and whipping used to be very common ways for Christians to atone. 
I used to cut as a way to feel something, anything. I dissociated after my rape. I think counseling would help you through whatever you’re going through.
