a question for military mothers
I'm not pregnant now but I was reminiscing over being pregnant and wearing the uniform. I recalled a day when I was 7 months pregnant and at work. I decided to walk to the shoppette and get some lunch and a milk shake. When I left the shoppette I passed by an officer. I don't think he knew I was pregnant at all though because 1 I was wearing my fleece and 2 there are some women who I don't understand how they pass the tape measurement for pt. Anyhow he got upset as I passed him because I didn't salute. My hands were full and even if they weren't I felt like I'd fall over if I tried to salute. I didn't give him excuses but I fumbled to give him what he wanted and he continued on his way. Now here is my question. Are you still required to salute so far into the pregnancy?
