Lighter period than usual

Hi everyone!

I’m currently having a mini-issue that’s kind of worrying me. Have any of you ever gotten your period but it won’t “flow” out into your pad? Every time I wipe, there’s blood, but nothing is coming out yet during the day. It is only my second day so far, but is this something I should be worried about? I usually have crazy heavy periods and my second day is always heaviest.
