my so has a thing about being called daddy and idk how I feel about it

I have a really good relationship with my actual dad so its really wierd when my boyfriend asks to be called it but I'm not against it its just odd for me

Mine does the same and it took me a while to get used to. I honestly do it cause I know it turns him on which turns me on 😅. It’s up to you about calling him that or not. If you aren’t, just talk to him about it

It’s just weird calling him daddy if he’s your BOYFRIEND and not your birth dad and I don’t like the sound of it.

I used to not like it because I do call my actual dad daddy sometimes. I don't mind it now, and I only call my bf Daddy while having sex.

Well, my boyfriend is more of the dominant in the relationship and he has admitted to liking the name sometimes, so I say it on occasion. I am not partial to either side. It honestly does nothing for me so I usually just say it to him

I call mine daddy, even though I’m really close to my actual dad. 
I guess I’m just able to separate it because I never feel weird about it. I haven’t called my father daddy in about 12 years though so that might be why.

I find it weird if you don't have kids, if you do and you can them daddy then I reckon it's fine.

I call my actual dad Daddy all the time. But recently have been calling my hubby Daddy or dad to get him used to the name when our little guy starts talking lol and when talking to our dogs they know who Daddy is so I guess I do but not often?
