i want a baby, sperm donor or adopt?

I just turned 20 and I've wanted to have a baby for as long as I can remember but im single as hell and don't see it changing anytime soon so I've come to the conclusion about maybe doing a sperm donor or saving up to adopt but idk what to do cause I'm to.insecure to have sex

Don’t rush into anything. Motherhood is so demanding and I couldn’t imagine not having someone there for help. That being said I was 20 when I had my first daughter and for as long as I can remember, she was ALL I ever wanted. So the transition from 0 to 1 child was not a big deal for me. Obviously it changed my life forever but it was a welcomed change and I adjusted to it very easily. You just really have to ask yourself if this is what you REALLY want and if you’re willing to give up your whole life as you know it. Once that baby’s here, you can’t take it back. 
Adoption is probably not the best option for you. It’s a very invasive, long and expensive process. It can take several years before you get a child and even longer if you want a baby. 
I have friends who have used a sperm donor. It’s still a somewhat complicated process, but if it’s what you really want, it is very possible to make it happen in less time. You would have to buy your sperm and do IUI which can take a few tries (like regular intercourse, you only have a 20% chance of conceiving after every insemination) but if it’s what you really want, I’d say that would be your best option. My friend was 22 when she got pregnant with her daughter via IUI so you’re also much less likely to be declined because of your age.
Either way, both are still somewhat complicated processes.
