Anyone giving you advice is giving it based on their experience. Everyone has a different level of pain tolerance. I know lots of people who have gone unmedicated and loved the experience. I also know even more people that have had epidurals and it was a God send and they had zero issues afterwards. Don't let one bad experience turn you away from what you feel is best. I know that once you hit your last few weeks you won't even care how they get the baby out lol.

I'm 38 weeks and a ftm, I was so scared about giving birth but im so tired of being pregnant and sore that I'm ready for labor.

one thing that helped me prepare for labor was prenatal yoga. it also helped with the back pain I was experiencing.

I Wouldn’t recommend an epidural, I Got One And Have Back Pains Like Crazy & I Had my Son 2 Months Ago .
