Mommas! I had my anatomy scan done today and everything was perfect except one small calcification on the liver.. the doctor says she wants to pretend it's not there because everything else looks perfect and I don't need further scans done, because there's a huge chance it's nothing at all. But I'm concerned, of course... I've read it can be nothing harmful, but I've read it's associated with infection (toxoplasmosis, hepatitis, etc..) or sometimes, chromosomal abnormalities. Trying to take the doctor's advice and not even worry because they look great aside from that. Anyone else have babies with calcium deposits in liver? Or other organ(s)? Would love some support.
