Signs of gestational diabetes?

I started off my pregnancy at about 100lbs and since then I’ve gained 20 pounds, I’m 26 weeks now and I’ve gained 4 of those pounds in less then two weeks! I go in for my GD scan in about two weeks but I’m kinda worried. My mom and my aunt had it for one or two of their pregnancies. Should I call my doctors office and tell them or just wait?

Just wait. I don’t think that’s a sign of GD. Frequent urination and constant dry mouth is. I chug 4L a day and I have GD. It’s no joke. 😩

I had gd when i was pregnant. My son now is 3 months old. There was no signs at all... well not that I aware of. I gained 24lbs throughout my pregnancy. Baby came out healthy and naturally. He weighed 7lb 12oz when he was born.

i gained 50 pounds with my first pregnancy and didnt have GD.  i just ate too much🤗🤗   this is my 3rd (my other two are 18 and 20 yrs old) and i actually lost weight at my last appointment, but i was overweight before pregnancy so the drs arent worried.    weight gain doesnt necessarily mean you will get GD...it is just more to have to work off after baby arrives🤔🤔

Just wait! Some people just gain a lot of weight during pregnancy! My aunt is super healthy and didn't get it but she gained 50 lbs! It came off easy after the was done but then she got pregnant again and gained 20 her next pregnancy! Everyone just gained weight differently during pregnancy

Don’t your doctors check for this when you do blood work? Fasting glucose levels is part of the lists of things they check for at my maternity hospital,  next week (11w5d) will be my second time, first was around 8w

It’s not a big deal if it is , a big baby is normal, don’t let them trick u into ac section because if size !
