Traveling after 28 weeks?

Question

Has anyone in this group flown in between 28 and 33 weeks? My doctor told me I should be fine to fly up until 35 weeks. However my mother was so consistent with the thought that he was wrong. I have a trip planned around Christmas with my husband for us to go visit his family up north. About a 2hr flight at most. But just would like to hear some of your experiences? I know some doctors recommend no travel after 24-28 wks.

I was told I can fly until 37/38 weeks...
I flew from My parents Home back to my home last week (1 hr flight VS 5 1/2 hr car trip ) and will be going down this wed again to prep for baby shower since it’s going to be down that way where my entire family is at. 
Everything was fine, except I recommend going EXTRA co fly, try to get the aisle seat & bring a pillow for ur back. I’m 30 weeks.

I flew in end of October 2016 and was due in mid December 2016. I think I was somewhere between 33-34 weeks.

Is your mother a doctor? Im guessing not. Don't take advice from the peanut gallery... its an insult to people who have spent years studying and practicing medicine

i didn’t fly but i did travel for 15 hours in the car at 31 weeks. my doctor told me i could fly up to 34 weeks if i needed to though.
