So I was on birth control for almost a year, and I just got off it to see if it was causing an imbalance. While I was on it, I either skipped my period or had a very, very light period with almost no blood, and even then it was the dark, almost brown blood. Last night, I started my first normal period in like, 10 months, and it's actually kind of satisfying to have blood coming out. But, the cramps, bloating, nausea, and stomach pain are awful. I hope it doesn't last too long.
