Doctor normal?

Hey guys just wondering if this is normal, my doctor seems all too eager to induce me I asked how long ide be pregnant if I go past my due date (ftm) and he told me I could do voluntary induction at 39 weeks this was a few weeks ago and I was trying to figure out how I feel about it. and he also sent me to L&D; yesterday after my weekly appt at 37+6 saying my bp was slightly elevated they might wanna induce me after monitoring and in his words “your full term now so no sense in keeping you pregnant” but they said my bp wasn’t high once in the 5 hours they sent me home. I feel like maybe he just urges people to schedule induction so he won’t have to be on call as much... anybody else’s doc act this way?
