Repetitive arm movements?

Anyone else's baby ever do repetitive arm movements? It's hard to explain but my six month old will kinda move her arm up and down over and over a few times or lightly hit me in the chest over and over while BF, or things like that. Does this seem normal?

totally normal mama! my daughter does this too, almost like she's throwing her arms up and giving ip. she slaps my chest and when I'm not wearing a high t shirt it makes a noise, which she likes. saw tons of babes do this at tree daycare where I've worked for almost 4 years. we had one baby it always looked like she was rooting like "woopwoop" 😅 she's now a happy healthy 2 year old.

I haven't nursed my son in. year and a half and if I'm holding him he still pats my boobs ... he would do it while nursing that and stick his finger in mouth and play with my lip ring ... comforting I guess lol

And she still pats me while breastfeeding. Just a comfort thing. As well as playing with my belly button. lol and trying to twiddle.

Yes. It’s completely normal! My daughter use to do this thing if I was holding her and she got scared she would take both her hands and pat me over and over. One hand on the top of my back and one on my collar bone area.
