For the past year or so I’ve had terrible cramps every time I’m on my period that make it nearly impossible to be a normal human being. I’ve been thinking about getting on birth control just so I can function normally. I would probably get the depo shot. I’ve heard stories of how staying on birth control for a long amount of time made it almost impossible for a woman to get pregnant when she wanted to. I’m only 19 and want kids way later on down the road so I would be on the birth control for several years. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with fertility after being on birth control for a long period of time and if I should start taking it or not.
