i can’t put in tampons?

i’m 14 and i really want to start wearing tampons because it would be more comfortable and convenient for me (i get really heavy periods) i’ve tried to put a tampon in a few times and it really hurts?? i don’t mean like slight pain i mean like,,, OWWWW
i asked my mum about the hymen breaking thing and she said i have an active life so it’s unlikely ?? 
help me please :((

It could be the angle you're doing it at, read the instructions in the box they're a great help

I had this problem when I first started using tampons, try putting it in at an angle, if you know what i mean? You should push it a little bit towards your back, not just straight up!

Put the tampon in as far as it’ll go. It won’t get lost inside of you.
When I started wearing tampons at first the hurt because they weren’t in my vagina far enough. Good luck, you’ll get the hang of it ❤️

Read the instructions on tampon box. I use to put them in wrong at your age, I wasn't putting the applicator all the way inside me so when I was sitting it was very uncomfortable.

Watch a youtube video. When i was ya age i tried and failed miserably and found out a few years later the only brand that didnt hurt me was kotex.

I put one leg up on the toilet and squat down a little, stick the applicator up as far as it will go, then push it in, pull out the applicator. Girl, it was like I discovered a whole new world of comfort when I finally got it. Lol And I was your age!
