Baby vomit in sleep

Almost 11 month old baby has been on antibiotics for ear infection so that might have something to do with it. She was throwing up all night in her sleep and I had no idea. She sleeps 12 hours a night and we don’t check in on her until she wakes up obviously because we don’t want to disturb her. We were very disturbed though to wake up to her and her bed covered in vomit. She could have drowned, so scary. She is her normal happy self this morning but call doctor. Have this ever happened to you?
