yeah it was crazy. the mom of my exes child didn't pay any attention to her and didnt take good care of her. every time he would pic her up she would have a rash on her vagina and an uti infection...at four years old....not normal at all. i question him...i asked him if someone was maybe doing bad things to her or was her mom letting her run around in wet panties. i knew when she got playing hard she would sometimes accidentally wet herself running to the bathroom. it turns out her mom never change her panties until after she was done playing knowing she wet herself. 3 infections in 6 months and rashes and she also dropped 10 pounds in a month because she was only eating candy at her house. (she was a bad mother) he did the application for custody however she beat him to it and he was to lazy to open a case on her. he ended up losing his child and only getting visitations and have to pay 400 a month in child support and medical. he was already giving her 300 a month plus paying other bills of hers...all her daughter was to get more money. so sad :( it was his fault for being lazy i told him everything to do and helped him with all paper work. we broke up and havent heard from him since. his daughter was like my own. all i can say is be careful and be supportive to the father. if things do not work out...do not blame yourself. it will take a while to adjust but if it works out...being a step parent is worth it. i loved that little girl so much and i pray for her. end of the day. its up to you if its worth the drama.

I had to deal with it because my husband's baby mom ran off with there son when he was two, he has been crushed to no end so about 7 months ago he got a call from the detective that they found his baby mom and son, his son is 4 years old now so she's in jail now with a list of charges so she called my husband one night and asked for money and he gave it to her, I was like what the fuck are you doing, he was trying to be nice, no don't be nice to her she ran off with your son and she didn't care, so we had a court date in November to get his son back, her lawyer calls my husband and says they want a paternity test, he was hurt so bad so we never went to court in November and we're still waiting for these DNA papers in come in. I  understand that his baby mom but  i can't respect her.

dated a guy for a year, he had 3 children with an ex (1 biological, the other 2 he loved like his own). i knew his ex was in his life, we talked about it, he was very open. everything went well until one Christmas Eve when the ex brought the kids to his house for the night...then SHE decided to stay the night. i gave them both the benefit of the doubt however the next morning he called me and said that his kids really loved being together as a family and that the two of them decided to give it another shot for the kids. too say the least i was stunned but simply said, “okay” and then hung up. their relationship didn’t last. we ended up dating again for another year then things got messy and the last time i saw him was 6 years ago at a court hearing, he showed up holding hands with her  that definitely stung. now I’m married to an amazing partner and they broke up so now his ex is also married to someone else. it is what it is. :)
