Home remedies for Croup?

My 1 yo has croup, I took him to the ER yesterday after calling the nurse advice line. The lady could hear him over the phone and told us to take him in as he was having labored breathing. They gave him a steroid to calm his throat and some ibuprofen, also prescribed me ibuprofen and Tylenol for home in case he gets a fever. I’m looking for any home remedies y’all might have for his cough and throat, I have honey and lemon but no idea what I can mix it with to give to him. At night I have the cool mist humidifier on, I’ve been giving him warm baths to help with congestion and sitting in a steamy bathroom, I’ve rubbed natural baby chest rub on him, and have been giving him soft foods and lots of fluids, frozen oranges in his fruit feeder pacifier. Also being very attentive to him so he’s not crying and making his throat hurt worse. Anybody have any home remedies you use for your baby’s throats? Anything helps thank you.
