I have 4 month twins who were preemies. They were in the nicu for a month and took a bottle of pumped milk while there. They wouldn’t get enough out of the breast. Now I want to be done with bottles and pumping but one Baby does great and I can get her to take a full feed (3 oz we have a scale) but her sister only gets about an ounce at a feeding and “clicks” as she eats. I pretty much have to hold my nipple in her mouth the whole time or else it will fall out. She’s been checked for lip and tongue ties but they said she’s fine. Any other possible reasons she can’t latch? Or things to try?
