Is it normal to have a period a week and a half after your typical cycle has ended? Is this the normal for ladies in their 40's heading towards menopause? Not saying I'm in or near, my hormonal test was normal. are any of you experiencing this craziness? it happens about every three months for me like this. currently I have been spotting all day for the past 5 days and my "normal" cycle ended (now) two weeks ago. crazy!!! I've done this before for 10 staright days. Once I even dubbed it the month long period!! AND about 8 months ago I bleed so heavily I was streaming on the toilet for 30 solid minutes. before that I had soaked 10 always infinity lads heavy flow in about 1 hour!! I called the Dr and figured it would be the hysterectomy talk. nope!! I was told take ibuphrophan and that would slow it down. she was right but wow the amount of blood loss went on for 3 hours. anyone else??? What have you been told ??? Any websites I can go to for period information and what to expect from medical staff?? unfortunately my mother has never been any help in any area. Thanks
