1 year of trying... what next?

Just want your opinion.  Would you stay with your gyn for clomid or go straight to a fertility specialist after trying for a year?

I started met after a year and will go onto clomid after 3 months. I am only 26 so feel like I have the time to take things slow. I suppose it depends on how bad your PCOS is and your age

I’m 29 and we’ve been trying for a year. Just recently diagnosed with PCOS. I’m following my current midwives for treatment but I’ve set myself a goal that if in 3-6 months I feel like I want to do more then I will. Go with your gut. If you feel like your current OBGYN is going to give you good advice and care then I’d say stick with the people you know. Your provider will be honest with you when they feel like it’s time to try other options.
