Okay so this is probably really silly to some people but this is how it went.. I have my own type of pillow. I've literally had it for about 16 years now. I know. That's crazy, but its a really good, hard, memory foam type pillow that has just never lost its support so I've had no reason to get rid of it. My bf wanted a pillow like mine and would always steal my pillow for a nap or try to sleep on it with me at night 😂 finally he bought a new pillow and I tried it and love it but I had no intention of using it. One night, since we had been playing with each other like "now that I've got a new pillow you better not touch it" and so on, I swapped them in bed to wait for him to notice and he didn't say anything and fell asleep. The next morning I swapped them back and that was it, well that night we got into bed and he lay down and goes "Baby this is the wrong pillow" and i said No it wasn't and told him what I did the night before and he goes "No, I know you switched them but if you like mine better then lay your head down and get comfortable, I don't mind at all" and being the crazy person that I am I got emotional and was like "why? It's yours" and he goes "what's mine is yours and if you like it you can have it. whatever makes my baby happy" and I went "take your damn pillow back" and kissed him and then I told him I liked my own pillow but I liked how his smelled a bit like him because of the cologne he wore for the day. The next fucking night I lay down on my usual pillow and it faintly smells like his cologne and I asked if he'd napped on it or something and he goes "no I just sprayed a bit on it before we left for work so that it could fade some by tonight. You said you liked mine because it smelled like me" I cried a little because as silly as it all was he is so sweet to do such little bitty things to make me smile. He is so silly but so sweet. I'm thankful for a man who is playful enough to threaten me if I steal his pillow 😂 but sweet enough to give it to me anyway.
