Boyfriend wants to study abroad

So I'm with my boyfriend of three years we went to high school together and he was perfect to me. He got a scholarship (full ride) to a school 40 mins away so I set up a routine that we'd only see eachother every other weekend so he can keep up with his school work without me bothering him. I honestly can't stand long distance even tho it's just 40 mins away but it's still so inconvenient. So he brings up he got a scholarship for studying abroad and I am so sad and angry bc when we got together I didn't sign up for long distance but I loved him so I delt with it but now he's trying to possibly leave me here and go to another country for months at a time. Idk if I should even go on with this relationship bc it's more and more stress on me. I can't tell him no bc I'll be a bitch but I can't tell him yes bc I'll hate myself for saying an answer I really don't like. Idk what I should tell him. I love him so much and I deal with so much when I am with him (he doesn't cheat or disrespects me) his mom hates me so we have to sneak around, he's ALWAYS BUSY, we're long distance, and I'm always horny af and can do nothing about it. What's should I do and what advice do y'all have bc I'm so hurt and confused.

UPDATE: Btw he's gonna choose what he wants to do, not me, he just wanted to let me know goodness y'all. Some ppl can deal with long distance some ppl can't and also if you think 40 mins isn't long distance than you have a lot of time on your hands and got some big bucks for gas. I'm just expressing my feelings and wanted some advice.. and his mom and dad are African so you should know what I mean by his mom hates me if you know Africans.
