When are you/did you announce socially?

I’m waiting for 40 weeks to announce on social media.

I waited with my first two until 20+ weeks.  didnt see the need to tell everyone on social media, most my friends knew anyway.  This one I was about 15 weeks.

We recently moved away from family and friends [military], so we announced as soon as we got our first ultrasound at 7 weeks. We also appreciate all the prayers and support we can get. The earlier everyone knows, the better😉 Currently 16 weeks

My sons birthday was Nov 4th so as a surprise to him we recorded him opening his presents one was a shirt that said “this is what an amazing brother looks like” we are also going to let him do a gender reveal so he feels included

There is no way I could wait any longer than 12...I looked so pregnant! Most of the people I told at 12 said they were wondering because I’m so slim it’s easy to tell 😒 And this is my second so I’m showing a lot faster right now I’m 18 weeks and pregnant looking enough that strangers and congratulating me and asking when I’m due...makes me feel greatttt 😡

At 8 weeks my husband had to take me to the ER (ended up being a UTI 😥 ) and they did an ultrasound to make sure the infection hadn't damaged the baby. He got on social media while I was passed out on an IV drip, to announce to everyone that the ultrasound made him desperately need a beer! I found out the next day and had to choose between amusement or anger. I didn't choose the latter, because that was his weird way of showing off the discovery. I had taken the ept test just the week before, so until then - he hadn't quite mentally digested the news for himself. LOL

I announced at 13+5 my first pregnancy and 11+6 this time around. 🤷🏽‍♀️

After losing my first at 12 weeks, we decided not to wait. I figured that even if I lost this pregnancy (which I haven't, yay!) This baby still deserved to be loved and acknowledged by my friends and family. Plus I was really sick with hyperemisis gravidarum, so it helped that people understood why I was sick. I didn't just have a stomach bug for 10 weeks straight.
