Hi everyone

Last month in November when i was 5 week and 4 day pregnant i had very terrible pain i went EPU and had my first scan but dr didn’t see anything inside .. after two days they did again and discovered my right tube is ectopic .. but my hcg level was dropping .. first it was 490 and all of sudden it went on 200

Doctor said we will monitor hcg until it goes down but in my next blood test it went up again by 400.. so after one week again i had very terrible pain i went to hospital and they didnt do anything to me except blood test to check hcg ..!

So in short my hcg went maximum 715

They kept me in hospital for a night .. next day i felt well and they sent me to home

When i came back to home again i had very very terrible pain and i passed the sac on my own.. no any medication

I showed my doctor and they told me its a sac

And after that now my hcg level is dropping

Today i had blood test and hcg is 340 .. so far its a good news

But still i am worrying is this same happened to anybody ?? Can ectopic resolves on its own without any treatment? And after that you feel great and dont any medication ?? Plz help

When I had my ectopic I was fortunate enough to get the methotrexate injection and avoid surgery, however my levels were never dropping, they were just slowly rising. I’ve really never heard of an ectopic pregnancy basically just going away on its own, but based on someOf the replies you have gotten it seems to be possible. However, if you are worried about it you could always go to a different doctor and just get a second opinion to make sure your good to go :)

yeah I understand :( I have however seen, especially on here, sooo many women who have conceived with only one tube, and for many of them it only took a few months. Which it takes a lot of people with two tubes longer than that!

In June at 5w3d I started bleeding and was told I was having a miscarriage.. but to come back and have my blood retested. 3 days later my levels had barely changed, so they made me come back again 3 days later. Again it had hardly dropped so they sent me for an ultrasound. 2 weeks after I started bleeding I had an ultrasound and was told it was ectopic in my left tube. They also tested my HCG and the levels had dropped, so I was given the option of a shot, or monitoring levels and letting it clear naturally - I went natural so we could try to conceive again whenever we were ready. Long story short, yes. Mine was ectopic and resolved itself - took 5 weeks before the levels were completely gone though!
