When did you tell family?

I am 4 weeks 2 days pregnant. - I know super early thing to be thinking of but due to the time of year, i know questions will be asked as to why I aren't drinking.
Also i'm going away next week with his sister and her girlfriend and my SO thinks we should tell them to avoid silly lies.
What are your thoughts?

We shared the news with close family and friends at 4 weeks when we found out. Told the rest of the world at 12 weeks.

We waited till 6 weeks because we have a lot of little nieces and nephews and didn't want to have to explain if something went wrong. Telling the world as soon as the 1st trimester is over :)

We told family first mostly because we spend so much time with them but immediate family only. Everyone else at 12 weeks. 
Also my first symptom is being incredibly angry and hard to deal with so it’s also a chance to apologise and everyone to breathe a sigh of relief that that is not the new normal!

We told our families after my first apt which was at 8 weeks. We wanted to make sure something was there and baby appeared healthy
