Clomid or Femara?

When I met with my doctor yesterday, he mentioned they are going to stop manufacturing Clomid - has anyone else heard this? Has anyone had experience w Femara? Curious what the differences are! ✨✨

I’ve always heard that Femara is easier on your body regarding side effects. Femara also has a slightly lower risk of conceiving multiples. I was strongly considering asking my doctor to prescribe Femara rather than Clomid, because there were times I really struggled with the side effects.
I think this is a good thing! Femara is a really good drug. It works slightly different than Clomid, but still gets you the same results. If it were me, I’d be all in with Femara!

I'm not helpful here, but thanks for the heads up! I'm seeing an ob-gyn next month and will keep this in mind should the conversation steer towards meds.  How was your appointment otherwise? Do you like your doctor?

I’ve heard people use both fairly interchangeable. I think the side effects with one are slightly better for some people. But I haven’t used them personally.
