I work 5am-2pm and suffer from severe fibromyalgia which makes me very tired and sore most days. My fiancé works pretty late some nights. The kids have piano, or sports, or some other school function. We don't always get to have dinner together, so we have started "Family Association Time" or F.A.T. (the kids didn't think family dinner sounded cool enough). One kid gets to pick the dinner and help make it with me or my fiancé, while the other 2 kids are responsible for setting the table and clean up, and the other adult does dishes. It gives us a chance to catch up on what's been going on with each other and just hang out. So far it's been a success (all 2 that we have done). This is my 11 year old and her first dinner. She was especially excited since I made the bread boules at work and I sent her pictures throughout the day of the process. How do you spend time as a family?
