High lipase, HELP

Meghan

I went back to work this week and have been working diligently on making sure I had a good milk supply. I built up a freezer stash and then had 25oz in the fridge for my first day back. I go to smell my milk today which is stored properly and I was taken aback when it smelt like vomit, I frantically smell all the bags and dump out 2. As I keep going back and smelling them I realize all smell funky and then I tasted it 🤢 it tastes like your mouth does after you throw up. My baby has been exclusively breastfeeding and I thought she was fighting the bottle because she didn’t like the bottle and now I’m thinking it may be the milk. I’m going to have her feed tomorrow on the milk that I have in the fridge because after extensive research it’s ok for her to eat as long as she will drink it. I’m going to pump tomorrow at work and when I get home I’m going to scald it and then have milk for her the next day. I’ll keep doing this until I stop breastfeeding. Can anyone help me out with tips and tricks of scalding the milk? I want to do it on the stove and not in a bottle warmer. This is all new to me and I feel a bit defeated and my first baby was only breastfed and I never had to pump because I didn’t work. I don’t want to give her formula if I don’t have to. Help help help.
