The 20th will mark 1 year since me and my boyfriend have been together and it's seriously been such a crazy year. I was dating someone else when we first met but holy moly the first time I saw him my heart soared, it was in an intro class for college and he answered a question bringing the classes attention to him and since then I've been hooked on him. After a somewhat nasty breakup,

me and him got together and I immediately loved the dude. Found out he was married (wait for it) but separated because the chick was the picture definition of crazy abusive cheating asshole, his divorce was finalized in march. February we found out I was pregnant and so it had only been about 2-3 months since we've been dating so that was crazy. We're young (20&23) and not doing the best financially so we moved in with my parents, found out we were having a boy, got put on high risk, had my guy at 27 weeks (six months), we had a three month nicu stay and got to deal with being stuck in a hotel with no power and minimal food cause of Harvey, got evacuated to a nicu in Austin, came back, our house got 5-6 feet of water, got a shit load of bills and honestly this has been a crazy adventure. This is the first relationship I've made it to a year and surprisingly this has been the greatest. We have our ups and downs, we fight over silly things and discuss the big things, we have our silent treatments and cold shoulders, our snuggles and kisses, we've gone through a lot during our short relationship yet it has shown me how much we're meant to be if we were able to get through all of this happy and still incredibly in love.

He's a great boyfriend and father and I'm just so incredibly lucky to have fallen for him at first sight. I love you Michael Doll, and I'm so thankful for all that you've brought into my life including our little man. Thank you for being the best support I could ever have and just for being generally amazing.
