I’m 26 years old, still living at home due to not having a job for 3 years because of severe anxiety. I have a boyfriend of 8 years & I have not once spent the night at his house because my mom waits up for me no matter what time of night I come home. He surprised me with a weekend trip to a cabin for the first time in our relationship & idk how to ask my strict parents for “permission” & to keep them happy I said we are going with his whole family. How do I go about this? I need help to make my parents understand that they are a reason for my anxiety. I’m not sure if this is an excuse from my part or not but they are old traditional Mexican parents.
