Why does it bother me so much that my husband stays up later and we always go to bed at different times? It causes so many fights....

He works swing shift so he works days and nights so 3 nights out of the week he’s not home... and the rest of the nights often he will stay up watching tv downstairs and I go to bed by myself. It’s not that I don’t trust him... I guess I just miss him and that’s about the only time we get any intimacy.

Last night he even said at 9:30 he would be up shortly and I waited up a bit watching tv and he didn’t come up till 11:45. We got in a huge fight over it and he just sees me as needy. I just feel like in our busy lives that 30 mins of pillow talk is so crucial... otherwise I feel like we are drifting apart. I can’t stay up late with him bc I get up at 5:00 for work (and I’m pregnant so exhausted)

I try so hard to just let it go but in the end it always stews to the point of me making it into a fight.
