How long did it take for your milk to dry up?

I have been pumping for 5 weeks and decided to stop today. I will be starting work very very soon and I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to leak while I was working. 
How long did it take you to dry up? 
My breast are engorged and with the slightest touch they hurt. I just started today.

I never breastfed at all but I’d say it took about 2 weeks. They didn’t even start leaking and becoming engorged until about 4 days pp and then I just started using cabbage inside my bra and taking nice hot showers haha.

I never breastfed or pumped and it still took like 2 months to completely dry up

Hey girl! I’m still in the process of letting my milk dry up. They were engorged for about three or four days but they still leak milk etc. the environment part should end soon hopefully. My doc said to wear a tight sports bra and even though it was slightly uncomfortable it helped lol
