When you first met you SO did you know they were the person meant for you?

nope. I got butterflies when I first met my ex and when I first met my husband. it's called attraction. now, sticking it out through thick and thin? that's real love. ❤

I saw my SO for the first time in 6th grade, for a whole 5 seconds. I knew then and there that I was going to marry him, as silly as it sounds. I've been graduated (2016) for a year now, and he's been out since 2014.

Absolutely. My husband said when he first saw me he got butterflies and just an overwhelming feeling, and I can’t even describe how I felt when I saw him. We were inseparable since that very moment.

I don’t believe in it. I believe you get excited about having someone’s attention or about what they look like, it’s a new feeling, but is it love? No. Love is a really deep connection and bond that can only come after truly learning a person inside and out. I truly believe that being in love can only happen once in a persons life. To me if it’s true, deep, unshakable love you can only experience it once. To me this “oh I had a first love, second love...” bullshit is exactly that, bullshit. You have one love and some intense crushes. But that’s just me!

You cannot fall in love with someone the second you meat them. What you are feeling is attraction or lust. You get all excited to see them and your heart races and all the fun stuff. Love develops slowly. As you spend more time with a person you get to know them. Physical proximity allows you to find similarities between the two of you. Similar personality traits make you feel familiar and comfortable. Both physical proximity and similarity of traits will increase the chance of attraction. Love happens once you start bonding with the other person on a deeper level. So to answer the question, love needs time to develop.
However, when I met my now fiancee I somehow knew that he will be a big part of my life. I tend to say I loved him form the first moment on, but that was just a super strong attraction on both sides. It took me a while to feel like I am in love with him.

I didn’t know at first sight. He and I dated for two years then broke up for four months and got back together. It’s funny though because the first two years we were in high school and yes I loved him but it was different then than it is now. When we got together it felt different and comfortable and genuine. It has been a wonderful almost four years now and I wouldn’t change a thing. I think the breakup made us both appreciate one another sooo much more

Anyone who is a mother knows that love at first sight is possible. 
I do believe me and my husband met with love at first sight. That was 10 years ago. The first time we saw each other there was clearly something and those around us could feel it to. Nothing happened at first although we clearly wanted it to. Timing just wasn't right. After high school things changed. We entered into a relationship together. We have now been in a relationship 6 years and been married 1.5 and have a beautiful 9 month old. 
I do say I've loved him for 10 years though.

Nope.... he ran in the same group of friends as I did and when my bf and I had broken up... he asked me if I wanted to go grab a drink at a dive bar we all hung out at.  I figured I had nothing better to do, so I went (in yoga pants and a sweatshirt with my hair in a ponytail) And it kind of escalated from there

When I first met him no thought he was cute but had the thickest country accent and a weird laugh lol then I’d started working on his shift and he would always find his way to me no matter how hard I tried to get away in the warehouse. He’d gotten my number for work reasons and would text me when we’re off and I’d shut him down every time. The first day we really “talked” was the first time we said I love you and we’ve been together ever since.
