Trusting ?sex without a condom?

So I'm an adult finishing up college, still new to this sex thing. My boyfriend and I of a year have been using condoms every time we're intimate. We tried doing it without a condom (went only two strokes) but stopped because I was too scared since i was ovulating . So i don't want to get pregnant , and I also don't want to be on birth control because I've heard its made people have even worse anxiety then they I already do. My question is how do you trust your partner to pull out? (He pulls out with a condom every time , but I'm an over thinker about everything) he's had other sexual partners before me, and he's my first.
