First trimester screen?

What are your thoughts on the first trimester screen? Did you choose to do it/why or why not? Any general thoughts are appreciated!

We are doing the genetic screening at 12 weeks because my doctor doesn’t do ultrasounds until 20 weeks (16 if you have something abnormal). Plus, I’m a planner so I’d want to research everything I could ahead of time 😂 We take care of adults with disabilities in our home so whatever the results are our little baby will be loved 💜

we chose not to. baby will be so loved either way, and it doesn't matter to me if there is anything 'wrong'. I wouldnt do anything to 'interfere' with the pregnancy no matter what the outcome is so we skipped it.

we are doing screening. the appointment is the 29th. my husband always says it's better to know, so he is up for all the tests.

I️ am for genetic testing and early screening. I️ want to be prepared for whatever may come. The early screening was the first indicator that something was wrong with our son. It can be heartbreaking but it is a reality that I️ want to face head on.
