A few weeks ago I went to the doctors on my own as I had various pains while peeing and around my vagina. It turned out to be a water infection, nothing serious and sorted now.

I didn’t tell my mom about it. Then today the doctors rang my house and my mom answered. I then had to tell her that I’d been to the doctors and what happened, She’s since said that she feels hurt and betrayed and like she can’t trust me. She told me that I was sneaking behind her back, which was not my intention. The reason I didn’t tell her was cause I was embarrassed and had no idea what was wrong with me.

Did I do the wrong thing by not telling her?? I feel extremely guilty and upset
