I did early 3D ultrasound at 16 weeks paid 80 I believe

in australia its about $400 if you pay in full and its not covered by medicare (harmony test), not sure if any private insurers cover it. screens for chromosomal defects and will tell you the gender, 99% accuracy. i didnt have it done but enquired about it. decided to just wait until 20 week ultrasound. i have seen some users here not have enough fetal DNA in their blood to get any result from it so im not sure what happens if this is the case. theyd need to take more blood but not sure if you have to pay more or if the next sample will be successful.
