19 weeks today. Went to the restroom around 1pm and saw light blood when I wiped, followed by a large blood/tissue clot in the toilet, probably the size of a quarter. Immediately called my OB and she sent me to the ER.

Doctor found strong fetal heart tones (140 bpm) and later determined I have a UTI. Is this the cause of the bleeding earlier? I haven’t had it since this afternoon but am still terrified. Doctor wouldn’t do an ultrasound since the heart rate was good. They also did a full pelvic exam and said everything looks okay.

On antibiotics now which are causing me major diarrhea (sorry, TMI lol) Just trying to stay positive, but very stressed out.

Other pregnancy factors: Low blood pressure, low iron, lower back pain, slight stomach cramping/tightening

😞 Just praying for my little one. We’re supposed to have our anatomy scan this upcoming Monday.
