Is it true that sometimes you may not get a positive even on blood tests until your 6weeks?

My mom didn’t get a positive urine test until 16 weeks with my sister. She was able to get a positive blood test though. Very crazy!

Yes every one is different and each pregnancy is different. So you could have O'd later than you think, or your hcg isn't climbing as fast. For the blood test they could do the qualitative instead of the quantitative..... Or maybe I have those two tests mixed up..... Which would not register lower hcg levels. So yeah it's definitely possible for a variety of reasons.
