Help!!!!

There is this new kid that just came to my school this year. He is kinda hot. I honestly think he is kinda cute. But here inlines the problem... all my friends think he is a freak. Also I don’t think he likes me. What do I do??? I’m also lying to all of my friends because when they ask if I like him I say no and call him weird. Here is the best part we were partners in gym!!! Help!!! I don’t know if I should say something or stay quiet. What do you think?
