Which race can have naturally Black hair ?

I'm a Black American and I told a lady at Sallys Beauty I wanted to go back to my natural hair color Black. She basically told me I can't have Black hair because only White and Hispanic people have Black hair. Well since then I have let my hair grow out and colored my tips brown and guess what my almost 8 inches of new hair grew out from the root Black. So I guess they were wrong. But curious what others think ?

Ummmmmmm she needs help my hair is black. It’s only colored when I dye it. My daughter hair is black same with both my sons hair.

I have 3 brothers and each of us have different hair colors.  I have brown. one brother is blonde one is a red head and one his hair is so dark it's practically black. my brothers all have the same mom n dad.
